Forensic Analyst

Our Forensic Analysts review and analyze evidence to determine whether products are counterfeit or infringe on brand owner copyrights. They assist Customs agents and law enforcement worldwide to help ensure that the products you buy are legitimate and safe.

What the day looks like:

  • Receive, process, and analyze evidence
  • Provide preliminary findings for criminal cases and draft reports to clients
  • Process downloads of digital evidence
  • Provide US and worldwide Customs support and process seizure notifications
  • Update client and internal evidence databases
  • Research data for test purchase requests

Skills needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • Excellent attention to detail – Successful candidates notice nuanced changes or recognize patterns of information & behavior 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn new things in a supportive environment where we start from scratch and work with you until we’re sure you have it right
  • Strong tech skills, including ability to understand SQL database tables and relationships
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to dynamic situations

We hire qualified candidates who are legally eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

This is a Monday-Friday, standard office hours position with periodic overtime available.

Salary is commensurate with experience, with base wages starting around $35k+/yr.
